The Blame Game

Politics has gone from mudslinging to character assination.

The election campaigning has been very tiresome this year. It doesn’t even include mudslinging anymore. It does include, though, a lot of malicious slander, lies and childish behavior from the democrats. What do they plan to gain from this behavior? If the electorate is smart, and I like to think so, they would vote for nobody from either party . In fact, I hope everybody that is up for re-election gets voted out and replaced by independents. It’s time to replace the old guard with fresh faces, fresh ideas, and people who can think outside of the box. It’s time we elect representatives who will serve the people and not the party.  It ’s time for a change alright. A change to the Constitutional government of our founding Fathers.

What has the present representatives accomplished this term?   Well, they argued a lot. They called each other vulgar and childish names. They bullied their opponents quite a bit. In fact they acted exactly like what we were trying to teach our children not to do. They threw a lot of tantrums if they didn’t get their way. They spent money on everything but government business. They supported terrorists, practice corruption padded their pockets with our money, and ignored the very people they claim to represent. The President (if you can call him that), has engaged in deception, used his office for bullying, scare tactics, and singlehandedly threw this country into the third world economics. He neither Christian or Muslim because he supports gay rights, and took the cowardly act of going to a foreign nation to say we are not a Christian nation. Thank you for slapping our faces and God’s face. Because of these antics this country suffering from the worst drought, economy of our time.

But it doesn’t stop there. Now we blame the each other for our woes and inability to govern. We refuse to individually take responsibility for the crisis that we are in, and to that end we cause others to suffer because we don’t want to be the only ones to suffer. Will this election bring back adults to make adult decisions for the good of our nation, or will we return what look like adults to get steal our money and play recess on Capitol Hill? It’s time to quit the blame game. It’s time to quit destroying ourselves from with in.
