An Article To Get Some Random Ideas Out

Well, I’m not sure what to write here. I started doing some videos on youtube though my speeches can be made a heck of a whole lot better! Still, they are there.
I recently put a deal up of my book being free. So far there have been 21 purchases on smashwords, 11 which have been actually purchased before I did the free thing. (Seems a popular move!) The recent manuscript I completed titled Intrigued By First Sight. Intrigued by First Sight is book one to a series of four books. I still think it’s funny that this started out as a short story I wrote two years ago. Yes, well I hope people enjoy the books.
I’m writing the sequel to Intrigued By First Sight. The sequel is called Rougher Tides. I’ve been debating with myself about whether I should post some of the chapters up on here. Though I do have the current chapters posted on my blog Zombie Erin’s Stories. I’m writing more it now, but I’ve come to a writer’s block for the time being.
Of course, I don’t mean a full fledged writer’s block. It’s the type of block where I have other story ideas competing for attention in my head and it is to the point where it is overwhelming. I will persist and finish the next book in my current series though.
Well one person told me he wasn’t able to get to my book just yet due to current projects. That’s fine by me, I’m just glad he was interested in it. Besides, he has never failed to review anyone so I trust him at his word. It’s the other people that worry me. I hope once they finish reading my book they will give me the reviews I need and I can only hope they enjoy my work and want to read more. I’ve a pretty big fan base so far, bigger than I expected anyway. It’s not too big (I’m not saying a million people love my work, though that would be cool!), but for me it is a monumental thing.
For example, my book Intrigued by First Sight is liked by 95 people so far on smashwords. It’s been purchased 21 times in this month alone so I have to attribute that to something. On amazon, it has been purchased 15 times so far from this month alone. So yes, I have to think that counts for something!
Oh that 21 purchases has just been upped to 22. I have to think again I am doing something right. There is always room for improvement of course. And I hope I start getting review notifications soon.

I once read from a writer that one shouldn’t let others know what one’s writing. It should be a secret until the book or whatever is alreadt finished and, fortunately published and registered to the writer’s name. Never tell anyone what ideas you’ve in mind as they may be faster than one to put them in good writing to achieve for the gold. Good share!
Have you considered submitting your book to a review site? I went back to my old article “Where to Get Your Ebook Reviewed” because I remembered Ebook Addict Reviews (http://www.ebookaddictreviews.com/) reviews LGBT romances. This web site is active; the most recent post is dated 13 June 2012. They also have a Facebook page, “Ebook Addict Reviews.”
