Another Mini Milestone

Well, yesterday I went past the 400,000 views mark, and while many people might not see this as anything too momentous, I personally believe that it is significant enough to merit a couple of celebration Southern Comforts. Considering that this is – despite the huge size of the membership – not one of the most often visited writing sites on the web, i think that the reaching of this goal is quite an achievenment.

Some might say that my also posting on wikinut – at least 700 views a day on that site, though the money is pretty poor – detracts from the possible number of views I coukld get here, but in fact when I was not posting to wikinut at all my views remained fairly static.  So that is why I am especially pleased that I DO get the extra views there, because it effectively doubles my reading audience and gives me a bigger web presence.

TThe opportunity to do exactly the same is there for all of you out there at triond, posting your writing here and hoping for good numbers of readers – because you can post the SAME stuff at wuikinut, meaning that you too would be receiving not only increased readership figures, but extra income as well – so even if the pay there is not great, it is at leasyt extra to your triond earnings, and therefore almost certainly very welcome.
