Book Reviews for Terry Goodkind’s “Sword of Truth” and Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time”

A book review for these two books.

Terry Goodkind’s “Sword of truth”

This was an amazing adult series. The people in the book were very immerse and the backdrop of the storyline was very impressive. The storyline never drifts from the basic “good vs. evil” that so many people find familiar but still interesting. The woman hero figure Kahlan was an interesting adjustment to the normal medieval time period. What made it even more interesting was the place of power that not only this women had but also the entire race of her people with the same kind of power as her.Next is Zedd is an interestingfigure through out the book surrounded with a mysterious past and an even more mysterious power, he is a teacher, a leader, and the most important a grandfather to our main hero Richard. Richard, a normal woods guide thrust into a world he does not understand nor want to belong to. He is made to face things he has never seen and to find and defeat things he has never imagined. But as always our hero prevails, if not by a hair strand away from imenent defeat. a very good book and series.

Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time

Another amazing medieval based book only this time much more focused on a younger audience. With out losing the attintionof the older readers. Our hero and his two oldest friends are made to face a world where if they fail in there goal the “shadow” will overtake the world. The dragon who is both feared and revered as the one who in the destruction of the world with also save everyone even at the price of his sanity and self. One of these three boys is this feared dragon, one can talk to wolves over a great distance, and one if not helped will be killed by an evil curse placed onto an item he has no choice but to carry around with him. An impressive read with out the trouble of confusion to delude from the ever going storyline that in the “good and evil” factors of the book. Another amazing read.
