Crimes of the heart are the most prevalent in the book Great Expectations.

Give an example of how Mrs. Havisham was mean and explain it.  Mrs. Havisham committed a crime to Pip because she kept reminding Pip of Estella’s beauty and then kept telling Estella to break Pip’s heart.

Give an example of how Mrs. Havisham’s heart was broken.  Mrs. Havisham was left at the altar on her wedding day and ever since she has essentially never left that moment and is frozen in time because of her pain.

Conclude it with a concluding sentence.  Crimes of the heart can be the most deadly of all and Great Expectations proves that truth.
