3. The Things They Carried (Greatest Vietnam book.  Period.)
4. Rabbit is Rich (Third book nearly suprassed second, but doesnt)
5. The Stranger (Existenitalism at its finest)
6. Close Range: Wyoming Stories (Anne Proulx is a master of her craft)
7. East of Eden (Vintage Steinbeck’s epic novel)
8. The Shining (Stephen King’s best work so far….)
9. Rabbit at Rest (A great ending to a great character)
10. The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (Teenage virginity is a serious problem for Oscar)
11. Red Dragon (Great Serial Killer Work)
12. Different Seasons (King’s is a great short story teller)
13. Little Children (The rigorous of monotony are beautifully portrayed)
14. The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love (Read this book in Florida, you’ll get a great feel for the culture)
15. Pigeon Feathers (Updike knocked them out cold)
16. The House of Sand and Fog (An epic tragedy that you can’t put down)
17. Last Exit to Brooklyn (Vintage Selby.  Enough said.)
18. Pet Sematary (It would’ve great if they all lived.  Sigh.)
19. Misery (The actually MIsery stories get old though)
20. Carrie (A great start for a great writer)
