Good Books for Teenage Girls (Two)
A sequel to my article a few months ago on good books for teenage girls.
If you would like to read my last article on books for teenagers, here’s a link http://bookstove.com/children/good-books-for-teenage-girls/ - its worth reading because it will have different books to this article.
In my last article I wrote about the Twilight Saga, Thirteen Reasons Why and Life on the Refrigerator door.
At the end I mentioned three other books I wanted, The Boyfriend List, Looking for Alaska and Wake. I did manage to get Looking for Alaska, have read it and it is now my favourite book; read on for a bit about that book!
Looking for Alaska
Looking for Alaska is by far my favourite book! Without giving too much away, it is about a boy names Miles Halter (It is in his point of view), also known later in the book as Pudge, who moved away from his home town of Florida to a boarding school in Alabama. He meets new friends, The Colonel, Takumi, Lana and Alaska. It’s an incredible book and I would recommend it to girls and boys. 10/10
Hush, Hush
Hush, Hush has been compared to Twilight for a long time now, but for me it is better. This may be because I hate the big franchise Twilight has become or just because I love Patch Cipriano, either way this book is excellent. A new boy starts at Nora’s school called Patch. After a series of terrifying encounters she isn’t sure if she could ever actually trust him. He’s everywhere she is and knows more about her than even her closest friend. Its an excellent book, but kind of scary in some parts! 8/10
Books I want and have not read yet;
Fallen
Evermore
Wake
The book of Luke
