When the new Harry Potter book come out, many of us found ourselves not being able to put it down when we finally got it. Now two years after the book came out fans across the world are waiting for the seventh movie to reach the theaters. Will it be as big of a hit as the Half Blood Prince or will the audience not be satisfied with the closure the movie makes to the end of the series? The movies have been through a number of directors, but the last film is to be directed by David Yates, the man who also did the previous two movies. Though there is no change in director this time, rumor about a change in composer has been confirmed. Nicholas Hooper will not be returning to compose the music for the last movie; instead Patrick Doyle will be the helm.

An issue struck with the filming of the last movie when it came down to what they were going to cut out. In the previous movies they cut out whatever didn’t really follow Harry’s journey, but this time around they were having a difficult time figuring things out. The topic of splitting the movie in two came up and caused a tough decision to be made. David Heyman, the producer of the Deathly Hallows thought the idea was crazy until he began to look through the book. “There is so much material and such great material that now I feel very positive about the two film approach”, said Heyman after realizing that trying to put it into one movie would be just as insane.

A change in cast is to be seen during the Deathly Hallows; our main characters remain with the same but what about the others? It has been reported that Emma Thompson will not be playing Professor Trelawney in the Deathly Hollows because of a conflict with filming dates. Other character will be introduced and reintroduced, such as Dobby the house elf will be back, and for the first time Bill Weasley. The cast has already been set on who will be playing who, but can very well change by the time the second the movie is finished. For the epilogue part of the movie, they decided to use the original cast instead of trying to find older look a likes for the roles.
Filming of the Deathly Hallows began in February 19th of 2009 and is set for release November 19, 2010.  There are pictures of Harry and Hermione standing by a tent in a forest and pictures of them at the Shell Cottage. Rumor has it that Hardwick Hall an old Elizabethan house in Derbyshire could be serving as the Malfoy Manor.  It is confirmed that members of the crew were there to take a look at the site. The second movie is already being filmed and is to be released sometime in July 15, 2011.

For Harry Potter fans the last installment is much anticipated.  Many are happy that it has been divided up into tow movies know that trying to put this book into one movie would not have done it justice.  For those that have not read the book you still have time to get it under your belt before the first part is released.Other books that are a good.  Here is a list of 10 books that will keep you up at night.
