This is a great book for teens and adults alike. The book features a much more in depth version of the storyline than the movie, and is a great read. For example, the protagonist (main character) does not blow himself up with a grenade at the end of the book. It is this kind of difference that makes the book just flat out better than the movie. Also, in the book, the protagonist is described as of English-German stock with blond hair and a short beard. Even accounting for these differences, those who liked the movie will love the book.
