Indian Gods & Goddesses

This article is an attempt to make people aware of Indian Religion.

According to India God is one. But there are many versions of deities. Indian Mythology says that God and Goddess are found every where and in everything. They are in nature, in sky, in rivers, in plants, in a particle of every pollen-grain. They are an enigmatic.  They are in every part of this universe. They are physically invisible but heartedly visible. They exist with forms and without forms. It all depends upon the believer. They speak to us but the language is silent and without words.

We see God and Goddess in Images and Idols and worship them. According to Indian Hindu Mythology there are 33 cr. deities.

In India different forms of Gods are worshipped  in the form of  Murtis. The exact nature of belief in regards to each deity varies between differing Hindu denominations and philosophies. Gods are called devas and Goddesses are called devis. . In the same manner, Goddess Laksmi  is symbolized as the giver of wealth and prosperity. Saraswati as the power of inspiration, not merely of learning. Students and scholars may propitiate Saraswati, the devi of learning. The Puranas recount traditional stories about each individual deity.
