Inspirational Books: The Art of Fooling Educated People

Every human has a deep desire to achieve something in his short life. However, some can achieve their goals early while some earn success lately. While some people find it difficult to set their goals and achieve them and then comes the writers of inspirational books to guide (or misguide) them.

“Writing inspirational books is an art of presenting simple things in a complicated way, still making the reader believe it’s easy to follow”

We all want to be successful in our lives. We want to have a happy, wealthy and peaceful life. We all have different definitions of happiness and success. However, we all can’t achieve those goals and can’t fulfill those dreams. Whenever, our mind goes in trouble, it finds easy ways to come out of it. The same happens in the case of inspirational book readers. Most of the book readers are those who haven’t achieved something but who dream to achieve something. The reader base of inspirational books constitutes of students, low grade workers, old people and some very sophisticated people of the society.

I want to make one thing clear that I am not against reading such books as I also read those books when I was a teen. I just want to present a point that inspirational books can surely give success but only to the writer of it and it’s publishing company. Many people join the “Art of Living” classes and some other related fraternities. That thing really make me think “Nobody teaches a fish to swim of a bird to fly then why the human, the smartest animal on the earth needs to learn the Art of Living?”.

There are many gurus out there for whom inspiring others is a huge business. I think when we read such books or listen to their speech, we can clearly figure out that we know many of them but we just don’t  know to present them effectively(as I told in the first line quote)and don’t express in front of others-these are the two reasons that differs us from the inspirational gurus.

According to me, inspirational quotes are popular from so many years. Many great personalities told thousands of great quotes which they learnt during their life span but today, “Inspiring others” is became a business and as you all know, business must run properly-that’s why these gurus work hard on making the simpler things somewhat harder to grasp. It seems their mind work like a factory to inspire others. In India, there is a different class of authors. These authors read writings of some of the great personalities such as Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey; and then after getting inspired by them, they write a book in some local language just acknowledging some of them who are popular in India-It’s like making remix of song and majority of local readers have never read such internationally acclaimed authors so they believe that the local author has created a masterpiece. This is how some local Indian  authors do their business.

These are the things that make me believe that, today writing inspirational books has became an art of fooling educated people who can achieve much better even if they apply some of the success mantras in their life-which they already know!!
