Is Madame Loisel to Blame for The Bad Situation She Found Her Self in at The End of The Story?

The Necklace is a small story. here is some info of the selfishness of people who are bigheaded.

At the start of the story ‘Madame Loisel was quite un happy with her she Luxury is something the dreamt of having she wanted a house with ante chamber fine ancient silk like ornaments and a perfume boudoirs and a tapestries adorning the walls and she dreamt of eating delicacies served on exquisite porcelain also of eating the plump wing of a pullet.’

I think Madame Loisel is to blame for everything that happened because of her jealousy and lust for the rich life. All because she didn’t appreciate what she had? her sincere husband asked her to wear fresh flower but she was too selfish and thought it looked cheap so she ignored him.

At the start of the story Madame Loisel ‘she was unhappy, feeling her was destined for better things in life…’she fretted constantly, she felt that she had been born for all the luxuries and finer thing. Mme Loisel had such high standards she couldn’t possible meet them.

Mr Loisel suggested she wore her theatre dress to the ball’ what about the dress you go to theatre in’. Mme Loisel was too ignorant and wanted a brand new extravagant dress even though her unselfish and kind husband thought she was beautiful.’ I have nothing to wear and so I cannot possible go to the ball. It would be better if you gave the invitation to a colleague whose wife is better dressed than I am’.
