January 2012, WBA & IBF Hear Appeal Khan

After the requests to the IBF rematch was denied, Amir Khan’s camp appeal.

Responding to the rejection of Khan through a representative of The Golden Boy promoter Richard Schaefer filed an appeal. Because it had denied the IBF, WBA Schaefer appealed to. After receiving the submission WBA, IBF was eventually switching decisions, to also accept the appeal. Furthermore, after a number of processes carried out, the Khan just waiting until next month, because the new WBA and IBF will matter of the appeal hearing, on December 18 and January 19, 2012.

“We have filed an appeal of remission, which we expect will lead to investigation of the WBA and IBF. Both of them wanted us to come to them to present our appeal in New York, 18 and19 January,” said Schaefer, as reported by the Herald Scotland on Wednesday. “They will make a decision, if indeed there is a bright spot will be an investigation and inclusion of our appeal. We hope, they decided to have the need to fight back. Something must be justified,” he concluded.
