Longmire: Review of Pilot Episode Review Result 1X01
Welcome to Absaroka County, Wyoming, a rough place that seems to have fallen out of time. The title character Sheriff Longmire relies on honesty and integrity, civility and less on small talk.
What awaits the viewers behind the name “Longmire”? As a “crime thriller” The series is being promoted by the Network A & E. In general, it is often perceived as a drama series. The atmosphere and the main character lead many to speak of a contemporary Western. It is clear that Sheriff Longmire will be especially concerned to solve criminal cases. The idea for the series is based on the “Mystery Novels” by American writer Craig Johnson.
What we have seen in the pilot episode of the series, “Longmire” is a self-determination, the go-ahead for a Procedural. The dead in the snow, took care of a great mystery, the missing daughter, an innocent wife who is now the grieving widow and a touch confused mutated into the red light district. The case is rather interesting and very original average.

Nevertheless, the pilot episode is worth watching. And primarily because of the characters, which develop slowly and are hopefully still not reached its climax. That the characters work so well, it provides the backdrop of the vast sky, the mighty mountains and the rugged wilderness.
Absaroka County is a fictional town in Wyoming, a place where human nature is still a real force. What counts is honesty and straightforwardness. Courtesies seem superfluous, small talk is rare.
The neighboring Indian Reservation will likely make in the future for a lot of inflammable material. The residents are on Sheriff Longmire (Robert Taylor) does not speak well because he had arrested the local police chief.
The figures, which the authors put into this world, are promising. They develop slowly even in the pilot episode and on. They are drawn with attention to detail and make you want more. But what can we learn so far is remarkable.
From cowboys and other residents
The title hero of the series “Longmire” is more of the quiet sort. This is evident in the first few minutes of the pilot episode. He is not the kind of person who puts emphasis on phrases and pleasantries. Who wants to get along with him, who must also insert what can and should not necessarily be unravels. But behind the tough Äußerne hide a heart of gold, an alert mind and a generous pinch of dry humor.
Walt Longmire has lost his wife a year ago and still suffers. Only slowly in his job, he seems to find it again.
