Monster

Book review.

Have you ever wanted to change anything from the story, “Monster”? Well, the story would be much better if you went back in time and changed it. This story was loved by many as a crime scene and courtroom drama. However, there were parts to the story that do not make sense. This article is meant to show how to make “Monster” a better book. Next, there were a few good points that were enjoyable. The story was told to us as a screenplay. Many of my friends did not like this idea, but it brought drama to the story. Steve’s daily journals were also very helpful. They showed how Steve felt after each day. They helped with the comprehension of the story to know how Steve reacted to prison life and the courtroom. After that, there were some parts to the story that needed to be implicated but were not. In the beginning of the story, the author did not even attempt to introduce the characters. Die-hard readers would like a more in depth look into the lives of the characters and how they ended up being involved in the story. Some readers were left wondering who these characters are in the story. Finally, there are ways to improve “Monster” and make it a best-selling novel that is impossible to put down. The only part of the story that should not be changed is the flashbacks of Steve’s life. They give the readers knowledge about the story and Steve’s life before the murder. More details about the past lives of each character should be included in the final copy. In conclusion, that is how to change the story, “Monster”, into a best-selling novel. There were parts that showed the blood, sweat, and tears that the author put into the writing of the story, such as the journals written by Steve after each day. Other parts did not show this same hard work, such as the lack of introduction to all of the characters. Those are the changes that the author needs to make to turn “Monster” into a spectacular novel.
