Some readers were left wondering who these characters are in the story. Finally, there are ways to improve “Monster” and make it a best-selling novel that is impossible to put down. The only part of the story that should not be changed is the flashbacks of Steve’s life. They give the readers knowledge about the story and Steve’s life before the murder.
