My Dream: A Shadow Told Me It’s Going to Take My Friend’s Baby

The other night, I slept beside my pregnant friend in her room. She’s almost three months pregnant. And then I had this awful dream. 

A shadow was standing in the door of the room while my friend sleeps and I was lying there beside my friend. The shadow told me that “I’m going to take her baby” while pointing to my friend. I did not talk back because I was so scared in my dream. 

I woke up immediately. I was so scared that I had to think hard of other things just to forget about it and sleep again. Too bad, I could not sleep soundly again after that dream. I was so bothered by the dream that even the next night, I could not sleep for fear that I might see the shadow again and tell me again that it’s going to take my friend’s baby. It was just too scary for me. 

Do you think it means something? 

I shared it with my friends except with my pregnant friend because I fear she might get scared. One of my friends told me he had a similar dream before when he was in 6th grade. He was taking a nap in the afternoon and he dreamt of a shadow asking to borrow their ladle for cooking spaghetti. He woke up with his mother looking for the ladle because it was missing in their kitchen. The next day, the ladle appeared with a bit of pasta stuck on it.  His mother was so angry.
