Ray Bradbury Died Today

Ray Bradbury, perhaps the most famous science fiction writer of all time, passed away early Wednesday morning in Southern California at the age of 91.

     The report was confirmed by both the Associated Press and the Los Angeles Times.

     Ray Bradbury wrote more than 600 published short stories and numerous books, including The Martian Chronicles,Fahrenheit 451,Dandelion Wine, andSomething Wicked This Way Comes.  He is among the most influential writers of the modern era, having sold millions of books.

     He is survived by his four daughters, and leaves behind a legacy that ensures he will live on in the hearts and pages of many.  Fan sites have already begun to spring up in the legendary author’s memory.
