Review of Trangressions

Book Review of Trangressions, which contained two authors. The Ransom Women, by John Farris…And…The Things They Left Behind, by Stephen King.

I won’t spend too much time on The Things They Left Behind, by Stephen King.  I had read this one before in King’s book, Just After Sunset.

The story is about a man who missed a day of work on 9/11.  He starts finding things in his apartment that his co-workers, who had died, had on their desks, or offices.  He eventually figures out that he is meant to take the things to his co-workers families.

The Ransom Women, by John Farris, I did like, but it reminded me of the movie where the guy pays a woman a million dollars to spend the night with him.

This one is about a woman artist who gets an offer from her favorite artist.  The guy wants to paint her and offers a bunch of money to her to spend a year with him, but she also can’t call or see any of her friends or family.  She accepts the offer even though she’s engaged.

There is a good twist to the story, which I won’t give away.
