The lightning thief is a great book if you like Greek mythology.
It talks about most of the Gods. If you want to learn about it the book explains different Greek monsters, myths Gods etc. The lightning thief is a book filled with suspense and mystery. It also has a bit of comedy.
The lightning thief is a book about a boy named Percy Jackson who finds out he Son of Poseidon, a Greek god. His mother is killed by a Minotaur. He then finds out his friend Grover is a satyr. He goes to a camp called half-blood hill. It is a camp for the children of the gods.
His camp counselor, Chiron tells him Zeus the god of the skies thinks he stole his master bolt. You will have to read the rest of the story to find out what happens.

Interesting. Monotheism seems to be morphing into atheism. Perhaps a return to polytheism is just what we need.
