The Paradise Series

The last book in this series is in the hands of the publisher, the cover has been approved and printing is not far away.

The Paradise Series by Dr Robert E McGinnis was started almost ten years ago and then for some reason everything stopped until the effort was reorganized and a new editor was chosen. Our new editor graduated number one in her college class with a major in English and if it were not for her, the author would be in bad shape. She now has an assistant who is equally proficient. The last book shown below, Raised In Paradise is an adventure about the son of Harry Raven, who is the main character in the first four books.

This series began with a young man working for a huge software corporation on the west coast. Harry Raven began having dreams that seemed to be calling him back to a place he belonged. He knew nothing of his ancestry as he had been adopted before age one. His new parents had given him the best education possible. They were elderly when they adopted him and are not living when this story begins.

The first book, A Beckoning from Paradise gives the details about Harry’s relocation, his new pet and the first people he meets in his new home. He buys a piece of land which was owned by the government and he was able to buy it for very little. It turns out to be sacred Indian land and inhabited by an Indian medicine man who had known our main character was being called back to lead the local tribe of sheep ranchers.

.

The second book is titled, Secrets of Paradise and outlines many mysteries facing our hero, Harry Raven.

The third book is titled, Paradise is Where You Find It   and begins to connect the dots and lets the reader see connections that are assumed and in most cases the assumptions are wrong.

The fourth book is titled, Paradise Grows  and all of the pieces fall into place, Harry finds his true love and everything is accomplished and the Wisnook tribe is now part of the modern world.

There is a measure of mysticism and spiritualism, sprinkled throughout these books, which are designed to help young readers read better, understand more and find pleasure in watching a good, honest character do the right thing by everyone he meets. It is hoped that logic and thinking skills will be cultivated as each person follows every twist and uncertain turn to come to a conclusion. The reading is easy, geared for the young, but as we have found out, there are readers at every age who enjoy these books.

Great stories, I have read these books and they are the kind that once you start, you read until daylight and then look forward to the next book. I am looking forward to getting out of the hospital so I can go on a book buying spree. (more of the same)
