Ed Gungor is an author of There is More to the Secret: An Examination of Rhonda Byrne’s Best Selling Book, The Secret.  He considered himself as a critical fan of Rhonda Byrne. He is also a writer and a visionary leader who transformed lives of others. He is also the author of Religiously Transmitted Diseases.

For those who love his book, may I tell you that I obviously and completely oppose his ideas about spiritualism.  He is as same as other Protestant preachers who is advocating the Protestant doctrine and considers that other religions are bad.  If he does not know the concept of the Law of Attraction or the Law of Karma, then he has an unorganized thoughts.

I also experienced to attend some Protestant meetings and their teachings will trained you to become hypocrite and ignorant.  I firmly believed that Rhonda Byrne’s best selling book, The Secret, is a truly helpful for those who are depressed.  Many testimonies tell that Rhonda Byrne is a visionary leader who really wants to help other people.

And, what is the author’s problem with J. R. R. Tolkien? We all know that he is a famous author of the famous fiction novel series.  If Ed Gungor does not like his style of writing, then he has the choice of not buying those books.  And, what is he criticizing about Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil? Are these people have the big contribution to the society and transformed many lives to become better? And, if he is disgusted with the creations of Dan Brown, then I think that he is the most boring person in the world who does not have spice in his life.  And, it is not very healthy if a person have a personality disorder.  A person must be well-rounded emotionally and spiritually.

So, what if the world is “dog eats dogs”?  It is the reality that we all cannot escape.  Even all Protestant preachers would gather in one convention and preach to the millions people, the situation would not change.

Concluding questions for us to think:

  1. Why are some people do not want others to be happy?
  2. Why are some people who want to be in control of others?
  3. Why are some miserable people want others to become miserable too?
