Suzanne Collins- Author of “The Hunger Games” and the Under-land chronicles, Suzanne Collins has an amazing talent. Even though she is writing for children, she somehow manages to convey all of the feelings of a book, without the big words, which was a big relief to the children I babysit. She currently lives in Connecticut with her family and a pair of  kittens they adopted from their backyard. Note: You will understand this picture after you’ve read her books. If you haven’t, you’ll think she’s crazy.

Stephenie Meyer is the writer of best selling series Twilight. She was born in Connecticut. Meyer also wrote a Book called “Prom Nights from Hell,” with several other authors. Twilight has been translated into 20 languages, just to convey how popular it is. Twilight was a New York Times Best Seller, as well as the best selling book of 2008, according to USA Today. The frenzy surrounding her book eventually lead to a movie!

Eoin Colfer was born in Ireland. Eoin happens to be an actor and a comedian as well as a writer..  He is the author of books such as,  Artemis Fowl,The Supernaturalist,  and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy’s sixth book. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is my personal favorite. He is working on 3 books, all sequels to these series, right now.
