What is the Future of Books?
Aabout the future of books in relation to internet technology.
Can we say that innovation, technology and internet has stopped people from gaining benefits from books? No, it is not true. In my opinion, internet and technology have helped people to access books much easily. When we surf the internet, we find many websites that sell books in competitive prices and also many libraries are facilitating people to get to their needed books within no time.
The future of books is very bright. Although, it is quite clear that we are not going to find the books in paper form any more in our futures because it is seen that people rely on internet technology more to get readable content and get books in Word and Adobe versions. Through internet, we can also get books in paper form but the most preferrable format is written books that can be read without printing them out. Most of the people use internet for accessing the books that they like. With the passage of time, the reliance on internet for obtainment of books will increase.
Internet has also helped new writers to come up with their own books on various titles. People with new thoughts and ideas are able to write according to their acquired knowledge and skill. Nowadays, reputed as well as new people write books and allow the websites working online to sell their books. Now, the publisher is not a printing press but a website that keeps the books in Adobe reader, Word and other readable and writable formats. The books that are available online can be downloaded in very less time from authorized websites.
The paper form of books will erode with the passage of time and people will make use of desktop computers, laptops and mobile phones to read books. With one click, the books will be downloaded and accessed.
