Which Book Should be Given as Gift?

Books are the best sources of knowledge, wisdom and entertainment.  You can treasure them at all times. If you have books that are of great worth, you can bind them and write the date of purchase on the first page of the book. Because you want to preserve this book in your library and would like to read it again. Your books are with you even at the time of your retirement. After your retirement, you have plenty of time at your end and your books are with you as a faithful friend.

It is a very good idea to gift a book to your friend, grand child or relative. In fact, if you can select some of the best book that you own and gift it to your dear grand child or relative or friend, you would be doing a very good job by sharing the good news of knowledge.

But before gifting a book, you must understand the need of the person and to what extent, your gifted book would be preserved. For example, your grand child is pursuing medicine and if you give an encyclopedia on medicine, that is a wonderful gift. Because, your grand child can always refer your gifted book and whenever your book is referred, you are remembered and thanked.

Therefore the gifted book has to be useful and benefiting.  If you are boss in an office and if you want to gift a book to your subordinate, you can choose a book that focuses on efficiency or a management book or a creative book that helps your subordinate to build and develop skills level.

This once again means that your gifted book must enhance and help the recipient and your gifted book must be preserved and referred again.
