some books are not great, others are fantastic. here is a list of books that are “must read”s and are simply perfect.
Harry potter – there are many books in the series, and all are worth reading. Most people have read these books already, but if you haven’t, read them! you will be glad you did.

Alex Rider series – there are 6 in the alex rider series, and are great for people who love spy, action, and mystery novels.
Skulduggery Pleasant – These are about a girl, who meets a skeleton detective, and together they form a team and solve mysteries involving magic.

Artemis Fowl – Another series. similar to Alex rider, these books are about a boy who meets a fairy named holly, and they solve mysteries together. these are like a mixture of Skulduggery pleasant and Alex Rider.
A Series of Unfortunate Events – a story about 3 orphans who have to try to survive in 13 different places, each more unpleasant than the last. with evil villain count olaf trying to steal their fortune, it is hard for them to have a good time.

The Outsiders – this is a book about a boy called Ponyboy. he is a greaser, who lives on the west side of town. the socs, from the east side, love to come and beat up the greasers. it is a must read and is one of the best books i have ever read.
