So, you may think that I am wrong about this, but may people have many different opinions, but i think you should let you’re kids read some of these books because i liked them an still do at my old age!

 Number 1: Skuluggery Pleasant (both in series) Derek Land

Number 2: CHERUB books (don’t let under 10’s read this book because it contains adult themes) Robert Monochrome

Number 3: Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series Michel Pave

Number 4: The Alchemist (all on series) Michel Scott

Number 5: Boy Soldier (and all in series) Andy McNab 

Number 6: The Power of Five (all in series) Anthony Horowitz

Number 7: H.I.V.E (all in series) Mark Walden

Number 8: Roman Mysteries (all in series) Caroline Lawrence

Number 9: Rangers Apprentice John Flanagan

Number 10: The Tales of Red wall Brian Jacques

The CHERUB books are very popular with 10+ year old because it is about children who are spies and are a bit like you. The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness are about a boy named Torah and his friends in the raven and seal clan trying to destroy the fire orb and the Mag es. Boy Soldier is about a boy who wants to get revenge on his grandfather who, was suppose have let ten of his team die and then he runs away with the bad guys. The power of five is quite confusing and quite a hard read. It’s about a boy and four other children who are trying to find each other, each of them have special powers and are suppose to save the world from the old ones. H.I.V.E is about normal children who have talents and are taken away to a school called hive (higher institute of villainous education) and is about these children trying to escape from it and about them doing things inside the school. The Roman Mysteries are about a few children solving mysteries in ancient Rome. It is very exiting and there are heaps of books in the series. Rangers Apprentice is a very good book about a young boy who becomes a ranger and his adventures. All these books are very good and most of them have won awards or have been in the best selling list at lest once. All of these authors are very well known around the world.
