The Best Book and Series in The World
I have roughly figured out the best english book series in the world by surveying numerous people. In here you can find a list of books to read that you may find interesting.
As a uni student, I surveyed around 100 bookworms (mainly children) in my local library and asked for their top ten preferences. Using their choices I was able to create a list of the twelve best books or book series in the world.
I have found numerous books which are both entertaining and chilling. I have also noticed that fantasy books top the list (probably because my interviewees are mainly children.) But I think that fantasy is the thing that fascinates most readers.
The category which is least liked by readers is love. This is probably because I interviewed young people who have not experienced it. I might survey some adults in the future to get a more balanced, accurate and categorised understanding of the popularity of genres.
Note: These are mainly children and young-adults books.

5. Stephen King’s horror novels (horror)
6. Fire Bringer (fantasy)

9. Dan Brown novels (mainly myth and religion)
10. Alex Rider (action)
11. Northern Lights
12. Goosebumps (children’s horror)
Please be aware this is only a rough indication of the best books there are. (I only surveyed 100 people)
In the future, I am planning to make a better article with a largest list of the book,s but I need suggestions from the viewers of this article. In that way I can make a refined list that is both lengthy and useful for viewers.

If you have a suggestion for some books please make a comment for that too. Even adults are encouraged to make comments. I might make a separate list for each age category!

I had probably agree with most of whats in the list. But what about selby and his books. And the Tomorrow seies isnt that great..

YEAH!!! Stephen King’s books are the BEST!! But not just his horror novels. Lisey’s Story is the best book he’s ever written, in my opinion. Its not horror.
What about His Dark Materials by…Pullman? I think that’s his name.
I would agree with u Luke about Stephen King. Have u ever read the Tomorrow series? I think its interesting as a whole, but not in the top 12…
I made a few changes because I interviewed more people. Most of them hadn’t read Stephen King’s Novels. So I recommended them to read some including Luke’s suggestions. They seemed to really like his novels and I have rated it 5. I dont think his novels can poke itself into the top 3 though, but maybe 4th. I also kicked out the tomorrow series. I tried reading them and felt like ‘I had better things to do’.
Keep posting people. I might be able to extend my list to top 20!
