Romeoand Juliet Explanation

Many people know of the famous Shaspearean quote from Romeo amd Juliet bu with todays current English few can comprehend its meaning…until now.
- “But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? ”- this part of the quote is asking what is producing the light of which Romeo sees.
- “It is the east, and Juliet is the sun! ” -this line is explaining how the sun is the producer of the light and that sun is Juliet.
- “Arise fair sun and kill the envious moon,“- asking Juliet to arise and come out to him.
- ”Who is already sick and pale with grief That thou her maid are more fair than she.”-declaring that Juliette is fairer than the moon and with this the moon is envious.
