The Three Most Famous Sets of Lovers of All Time

Love that wrote itself in history.

Love is a word that is capable of anything. Capable of success, failure, destruction, creation and beauty. While lovers all over the world can’t wait to celebrate occasions like Valentine’s Day there have been some famous lovers of all the time and their love is still written in the pages of history like yesterday. The three famous lovers pair of all the time though ended sadly but they have managed to get their name alive even now.

1. Romeo and Juliet

This is about lovers belonging to families who are rivals. Capulet and Montague are two rival families but ironically their children Romeo and Juliet fell in love with each other. They also gets married with the help of their friend- Friar Lawrence but unknown about this fact and willing to get his daughter married, Juliet’s father arranges her marriage. Friar is able to help Juliet by giving her suggestion of drinking the poison created by him before the marriage that will make her fall in deep sleep and make everyone believe that she is dead, and when she will be buried Romeo can come to her rescue and get her. But fate had decided something else and while Juliet manages to take the potion, Romeo is unaware about the plan and before he can be informed he came to know about his beloved’s death and so arrives and seeing her dead kills himself. Later, Juliet discovering Romeo dead also ends her life.

2. Laila and Majnu

While Laila was born in rich family, Majnu was a poor lad and so like every love story rich and poor are always against each other. Laila’s parents denied her wish to get married to Majnu and get her married. Even after the marriage Laila is not able to forget her past and her love for Majnu and after suffering with her emotions commits suicide. After discovering her death Majnu visits graveyard and also kills himself beneath her.

3. Heer and Ranjha

Another story about poor and rich. Heer was born in a rich family while Ranjha not so poor but is not able to bear his difference of thoughts with brothers and leaves them and wanders from one place to another. He was an amazing flute player and reaches to Heer’s village. Even Heer is not spared from the magic of his flute and falls for him. They start meeting secretly without the knowledge of Heer’s parents but that ends up in mess. Heer’s uncle discovers their love and so her parent decides to get her married. But before she gets married she is poisoned by his uncle and so ends her journey of life. Ranjha too follows her and that makes another sad end of the story.
