Top 15 Crime and Mystery Novels of 2008
Which mystery books cpatured our attentions (and money) in 2008? Who kept us on the edge of our seats and awake all night?

There is nothing like a good whodunit to get you so involved in a book that you forget to sleep. Rarely is the person you think is guilty, the one who really is guilty. It takes a special kind of writer to be able to write a mystery, because if you think about, they have to write the book, knowing the whole time who in fact did the crime and not give it away to the reader.
In 2008, 15 novels leapt into the top honors, selling more than many other. Here is the list of those top 15 and unlike my other top 10 list, with very few surprises:
1. Small Crimes, by Dave Zeltserman
2. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Stieg Larsson, translated from the Swedish by Reg Keeland
