Denouments – Why?

The other day the discussion turned to the kind of ‘what I would say…’   Each person created their fantasy scenario in which they were enabled to unburden themselves.  What they would say to their boss, their family, their spouse; able to justify, to explain, to prove….

The point that I made; Why?

I works in dramatic presentations.  Everyone shuts up and hears what the protagonist says, and realizes they were wrong…

In Real Life?

The fact is simple; stupid people are stupid because they do not consider that there is information they do not have.  They dismiss ideas out of hand because they do not possess the knowledge that is necessary to understand, but further, do not have the intellect to appreciate that there is information they do not have.

Therefore, in Real Life, these emptying of the heart expositions have no purpose. 

Those to whom they speak will ridicule, dismiss, ignore, and try to use the information in the worst possible way. Why bother?

Say nothing, and do whatever it is.  Certain people don’t deserve explanations; besides, they’ll concoct their own.  The one they create will match their grid, so whether one explains why or justifies, this is the ‘base’ they will use.
