(Continued from Escalon 1: Clash of the Superpowers (Part 1))
· Bemus: You won’t kill my son, while I’m alive.
· Alcander: No father, get away from here.
· Cyrano: You old fool. You’ll pay for this. You say I can’t get your son huh. Well it’s time for you before your son.
And so it was, Bemus was reduced to ashes by the thunders of Cyrano. Alcander was shocked. In just a moment, he had lost his father in front of his eyes.
· Alcander: (Shouting with tears in his eyes) FAAAAAAATHER.
· Cyrano: He surely died the most pitiful death. And so will you Alcander. I can’t ever let a power exceed mine own.
· Alcander: NOOOOOOOOOOO, I WON’T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS CYRANO. I WON’T LET YOU……….
Escalon at the moment begin to shine in the hands of Alcander. The blade of the sword was shining so bright that it lit up the whole planet. Cyrano was awestruck by the sight of light. Cutting the light enters Alcander, harnessing the true power of Escalon. Now he was covered with the shield of light all over his body, the sword was shining in his hands and Alcander had ascended to the power he required right now.
· Cyrano: Finally, a worthy challenge. (Cyrano ascended to his true form, with him also being covered by the shield of thunder.)
Alcander: Now, beings the true fight.
Both Alcander and Cyrano were equally powered. Blocking each other’s attacks, they went on with the fight. Massive blows, massive hits and massive thunders, lights and storm. No one seemed to give up. Alcander though had a problem controlling the power he had in his grasp; and that was the weak point where Cyrano struck. Even after gaining all the power, Alcander was in the problem and once again he was brought down by Cyrano.
· Cyrano: All this power and you’re still no good. You lack control. I had many chances before, but I let you get to my head. Now, I can’t let you live for minute more.
· Alcander: (Laughs) give your best shot.
· Cyrano: As you wish.
Both Cyrano and Alcander went for the blow. When Cyrano just came close to Alcander, the sword shone and then the next moment Cyrano found the sword been struck through his heart.
· Alcander: NOW DIE!
Alcander released the storm of fire from the sword while it was in Cyrano’s heart. Cyrano was burnt to rubble. It was over, for everyone thought that. From the rubble came a dark smoke. Alcander was astonished.
· Cyrano: You don’t understand, do you? You have destroyed my body, not me. And it won’t be long enough before I gain it back.
· Alcander: You won’t gain anything, I promise.
Raising Escalon towards Cyrano’s evil spirit, a light came out from the sword, zapping Cyrano into the light. It was finally over. Just when people were about to celebrate, Alcander struck himself with this sword. He struck his own heart. All were shocked. Zarek (Alcander’s son) and Alcina (Alcander’s wife) came running towards him.
· Zarek: (in tears) why did you do this father? WHY?
· Alcander: (in pain) it was the only way son. I managed to capture HIM within me, but to ensure that he never gets over me, I had to do this. He was too strong for me. When I remove the sword, my spirit and Cyrano’s evil spirit will be trapped inside the sword. (Looking at Alcina) take this sword then to the priest. He knows what do to with the sword. But remember, NO NEVER LIVING BEING IS TO TOUCH THE SWORD WITH IT’S BARE HAND, EVER. THIS MAY HAVE SEVERE CONSEQUENCES. (Looking at Zarek) now you’re the man of the family and kingdom. Take good care of our people.
· Zarek: (Rubbing his tears) I will.
· Alcander: I’m proud of you.
[With removing the sword, Alcander and Cyrano both pass away. As per ordered, the priest engraved half of the sword in the rock, in middle of a mystical lake, where no mere mortal could ever gain it. The whole lake was enchanted to save the sword from its seekers.
Atlantia prospered later in the hands of Zarek, the proud King of Atlantia. But was it over for good? Maybe yes, or maybe…………………….]
