Five Types of Clouds

Types of clouds.

  1. Cirrus Clouds

High level clouds, made of ice crystals that appear as wispy. Strands stretching across the sky are called cirrus clouds.

        2.   Cirrostratus Clouds

Thin to thick , white or light grey ice crystal clouds. Covering parts or all of the sky.

       3.Contrails Clouds

a straight narrow line of ice crystal clouds. This is produced by flying air crafts. They can become into several short segments.

      4. Altocumulus Clouds

Thin or thick, white to gray, mostly water droplets. May change completely across the sky.

     5.Stratus Clouds

Low altitude, light to dark gray water droplet clouds.

    very good share. I guess you missed out on the most important Nimbus clouds, or they altocumulus! Thanks.

    I think Altocumulus clouds are my favourite. They look like washboard abs lol
    My daughter tought me rhese when she was in grade 7. It was very impressive.
