Review: Deja Vu (2006)

If you love Denzel Washington then you must watch this film.

I’ve walked past this film at the DVD store about a dozen times. The only thing I knew about this film was that the screenplay was the highest selling screenplay, selling for $5 million.

It was on television last Saturday night. I thought it looked interesting and I wanted to watch it because I love screenwriting and I wanted to see what an expensive screenplay looked like when it was shot.

Denzel Washington is a very good actor. I bought everything he said. Deja Vu is a sci-fi thriller. A quick summary. An ATF agent(Denzel of course) travels back to the day of a ferry bombing to save a woman named Claire(Paula Patton) who was killed by the bomber in the present.

Believe it or not but there was actually a moment where I let out a few tears. Maybe you won’t cry, maybe I’m just oversensitive.

This is another movie I would recommend to watch.

Best wishes!
