Harry Potter, the Beginning of the End
Children around the world have been waiting for the last installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is the last book of the series, which is causing both excitement and sadness. Will Harry die in the final book? Will Lord Voldemort get what he has wanted for so many years?
Will Harry Die?
Some of the most popular theories are that Harry will kill the evil Lord Voldemort but will lose his own life in the process. But if Harry dies that will cause a great disappointment for some fans who want to see the hero defeat the villain in the last book. Another theory is that Harry will not kill Voldemort but merely send him to the wizards’ prison Azkaban or some other means of imprisonment.
Will any of the Other Characters Die?
The author J.K. Rowling has said that yes another character will die but we do not know which. It could be someone who is close to Harry himself for instance, Hagrid who has been a loyal friend ever since he rescued Harry from his horrible aunt and uncle. Another would be Ron and Hermione Harry’s two best friends. And of course there is Severus Snape the not-so-nice potion’s teacher/ former death eater, whom Harry despises, he is believed to be on the good side but many think he is still part of Voldemort’s death eaters.
Release Date?
We do not know the release date at this time but it is expected some time late this year, another theory being that it will be released on 7/7/07 because this is book 7 of the series, Voldemort had 7 horcruxs and with 7 being the most powerful number it would make since, but that is only a theory and we will continue the make theories until the book is released until then we can just enjoy the beginning of the end.

Hmmm. Some very interesting thoughts. I myself think that everyone should die in some kind of catastrophic event, maybe the destruction of the world?…..wow….that might be a bit much huh? well then maybe in the least a bad rash. Either way its a good thought and I can’t wait to see how it all ends!
Thanks for the heads up on the next installment of Harry. I will be very upset if Harry dies in the final!! My hope would be that only Harry’s godfather(Serius Black) would be wiped out from the wand of wizards. I would like that better than if Hermione or Ron were wiped off the wizarding world!! One things for sure I know JK Rowling sure knows her stuff. I can’t wait for the next adventure.

Well.. if you ask me, Snape is definetly going to die. He pissed off the wrong people by finishing off Dumbledore… I won’t be surprised if Hagrid is the one who will rip him apart or send one of his ‘pets’ after him
There’s actually another thing I have been wondering. I’m not sure if Harry will even go back to Hogwarts… How is he going to kill Voldy if there are still some of the Horcruxes around? Not to mention that his ability to kill someone with magic isn’t going to be enough.
And he still has to find the lost Horcrus (the pendant) or find out what happened with it. I personally think (as do others) that Sirius’ brother Regulus took the pendant and destroyed it. Remember the initials on the note Harry found in the fake pendant (R.B. – Regulus Black).
After taking into account that Harry still has a lot to learn and there still a lot of loose ends, the 7th book is going to be HUGE.
