This is my personal opinion of the house of night book series. I feel it is the best I’ve read so far. Right now, there is five books in the series. The sixth one comes out at the end of October.

P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast have written a great book series worth checking out. Each book seems to get better as they go.

It tells the story of Zoey Redbird a teenager who gets marked by a vampire hunter so that there is a good possibility of her becoming one herself.

We all know that teenagers deal with plenty of ups and downs in thier lives. When it comes to Zoey herself, she has way to much to deal with.

She has a blood lust for her ex-boyfriends blood. A legendary poet lusting after her and she ends up losing her virginity to him. In the process, she is being chased by another teenager who becomes her so called boyfriend and then, ends up walking in on her making love with the poet.

She has to deal with thier high priestess turning bad and very dangerous.

Her roommate and bestfriend ends up dying and turning into something dangerous. With Zoey’s help, her friend has to choose between humanity or becoming a monster.

Zoey becomes friends with a group of kids, that ends up helping her become more than anything the next high priestess.

Each and every vampire fledgling ends up with a tattoo on thier heads. When they become a full vampire they get bigger tattoos. Except in Zoey’s case. For every good deed she does, she gets more and more added tattoos on to what she already has.

Over all, this series has caught my attention and has held it. I can’t wait to read what’s going to happen next to Zoey.
