Jurassic Park
While I do not reveal the ending of the famous book by Micheal Crichton, I include many of the exciting parts of the plot.
I read the book Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. In the book Jurassic Park, Michael Crichton tells about how one mans plan to make a fun amusement park for kids, goes completely bad. A man named John Hammond has a plan to create a dinosaur park, with various amusement rides, including a safari ride through the park. Hammond creates the dinosaurs by getting amber, which is solid tree sap that has many insects encased in them. The amber is really old, and the insects in them had most likely sucked blood from dinosaurs. They then extract the blood from the insects in the amber and use the dinosaur DNA in the blood to clone dinosaurs.
It is about 2 months until the park will be open to the public, and Hammond wants to invite a few of his dinosaur colleagues and his 2 grandchildren to come and experience the thrill of the park. As soon as they arrive, they get a tour of the park and then take a ride on the safari adventure ride. Half way through the ride, there is a power outage that prevents the cars from moving anymore. They happened to stop right next to where the large dinosaur, tyrannosaurus happens to live. After a few minutes they see a large thing outside of the car moving around. They don’t know what it is until it attacked the cars. Here is a passage from the novel that tells about the attack from the point of view of one of Hammond’s grandchildren. If you want to find out what happens next in the novel, read Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.
