- Artemis fowl- The series begins with boy genius Artemis Fowl following a trail led by hours of tedious research and a couple false alarms. He is looking for a fairy. He has heard of fairies and realises that what most people take as fiction are really fact. He intends to separate the fairies from a large part of their ransom fund, about 1metric ton to be exact, to fund rescue mission to Russia to find his father.
- Artemis Fowl: The Arctic incident-when goblin gangs start using batteries to power dangerous laser guns, Commander Root and Holly naturally think that Artemis is behind the whole thing. To their surprise, Artemis is innocent, and suddenly he’s their best bet to help figure out who in the human world is responsible. But Artemis won’t do it for free. He’s just received a tip that his father, missing since his ship loaded with Cola went down in the arctic sea, may have turned up in Siberia, held for ransom by the Russian Mafia. Artemis and Butler don’t stand much of a chance alone, but with a bit of magical help from their fairy friends they might just be able to rescue him.

But what Artemis doesn’t expect is to walk right into Spiro’s trap. Spiro gets away and leaves Butler Mortally Wounded. Ironically this lemur is extinct because of one child genius’s crusades to find his father, The one and only Artemis Fowl. Now Artemis must go back into the past and defeat his most cunning opponent yet, Himself 4 years earlier
