Naruto and Jiraiya set out to find Tsunade as the Pervy Sage begins to teach him a powerful technique. Meanwhile, Orochimaru is preparing to strike.
This manga is pretty good, now I have always found Naruto to be kind of annoying, but now he’s starting to become a likeable character. I am enjoying the series and I am looking forward to getting the next volume from my local library.
The action scens and illustrations are pretty good and it is a fun manga. But it is overhyped by it’s fanbase a lot, you do have to put your time in with it in order to enjoy it, and that is the hard part of long-running Shonen anime and manga. I’m also watching one Piece and that series has over sixty volumes of manga, Naruto is also getting close to that number when it comes to manga volumes as well.
This manga is recommended for ages 13 and up because of blood, violence, some language and fanservice. Read through a few volumes before deciding if you want to buy it and let younger members of your family read it, because it is popular among kids.
I recommend Naruto to anyone who enjoyed the anime or thinks the plot is very good. But you don’t necessarily have to buy it, why, because your local library will probably have it in their system and you can read it legally for free, manga scanlations are not legal and they do not support Masashi Kishimoto, you’re putting money in the pockets of people who just want the money from the traffic to their site. When you borrow from the library, the manga was still purchased through a store and that means money went back to Masashi Kishimoto, if you want to see the anime subtitled, you can watch it legally on Hulu, just look up Naruto on the site and the show will pop u. If you really enjoy the series, buy it, if you’re a casual fan, get it from the library.
