Life Lessons

Two New Non-Fiction Reads to Consider.

Are you looking for something to read? There are currently two new books to consider both by African American writers.

The first is Start Where You Are. It is the new book by the businessman Chris Gardner. It has just over 40 lesssons to help people think positive and improve their lives. He is a Christian biut he failed his marriage so he really is not a family man. he did stay in his son’s life and Mr. Gardner did well by him.  There is not strong enough counseling in their to use at church, but you may think so. He has the clear, concise and , commitment plan. That is emphasized in business and all mature Christians know it. You may find some inspiration in the book but there are misrepresentations from the Apostle Paul and Mr. Garner does alludes to the Bible three times. He does do speaking now. Brother, you are more charismatic and a stronger witness for God so read before you act. Gardner does have good taste in music. He is very complimentary to Berry Gordy Jr. He is also trying to continue Nelson Mandela equality work. Therefore, it may me worth it to have him for a visit.

On another positive note. There is finally a nice cook book to read but not to eat. Patrick Neely came out with hos own cook book last The Neely’s a Southern Family Cookbook. There is some nice writing in it. It is clear that Patrick Neely deserves all his success. He shares some recipes of his own, mother and grandmother. That Knock Out Cake would be breakfast and lunch for the calorie value and ingredients. The Lemon Lime Aid has way to much sugar. Yes, Patrick is a good man but definitely not health conscious. Both the restaurants Memphis and Nashville are doing well. Go and say hello.

The odd thing about this book is that Paula Dean from Georgia wrote the introduction to this book. Y’all she definitely is not a belle. Miracously, she writes a very strong, complimentary, not twag composition to the Neely’s. She may only appear to be the dumbest woman on the Earth on T.V.. You certainly cannot stand to watch because she does magnify her stupidity, not in this piece. Surprise.
