Review of Two Robert Fulghum Books

A brief review of All I really need to know I learned in kindergarten and It was on fire when I lay down on it.

This is a two part review. The first part is on Robert Fulghum’s book All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. The second part is on his book It was on fire when I lay down on it. I have read both books and find them to be great reads for any book lover or casual reader. They are both short only about two hundred pages each. If you’re looking for something to read on a lunch break and don’t want to get into lengthy novels they will do.

The first one All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten is about the simple things in life that we often for get as we grow up. The simple things that in a large way would make this world a little better if we followed the rules we learned in kindergarten. Fulghum brings the things to life with his story telling of not fully fictional things but with life experiences he himself has gone through.

The second one It Was on Fire When I Lay Down on it is the continuation of the first. He mentions that he will tell you about this story in the first book and keeps his promise with the release of this book. With the continuing of stories and thoughts that we may not ordinary see the reader is entertained for hours. It starts of with the story of a man who is rescued from a burning house and when asked why he laid down on the burning bed his only response was it was on fire when I lay down on it. Now don’t worry I haven’t spoiled anything or given away a big secret.

Both these books are great reads and he is an author that every one should give at least some of there time and check out.
