Why are We Afraid of Aliens?
A consideration of the fact that we seem to fear Aliens, when evidence might be saying we have more reason to fear ourselves.
There seems to be a great fear of Alien visitors, one that has been generated no doubt by media hype, films, and the seemingly endless sightings of UFO’s. So why are we so negative about such a possibility that other beings may exist in other worlds, and may be they have taken an interest in our world, or maybe we are the Aliens?
We have sent craft to other worlds; some have crashed to the surface of those worlds without a care as to any affect on what lies beneath the impact site. Perhaps we are the hostile ones, not the Alien visitor.
Perhaps it would be good to look at who we might be related to; I say might as a speculation of what has been observed and appears to shed light on our nearest planetary neighbour, Mars. Some years ago, back in the history books, Mars was said to have a network of waterways, then, as time moved forward that was dismissed; in fact Mars was now viewed through photographic eyes, and it was seen as a desolate waste, dry, barren, not a drop of water anywhere. What a shock when our alien landing craft set their feet on the Martian surface. For a while the pundits of gloom bleated that Mars was a desolate waste, “look there is nothing but rocks, rocks and still more rocks.”
However, as time moved forward, our alien landing craft have started singing a different tune; at first it was that once upon a time there was water, then it became there may still be water, and more recently, there is water and it even snows in the upper atmosphere. In my lifetime I have seen a strange world, once called the red planet, become the most exciting place one could imagine. For me I do not look at the evidence as just a curious collection of facts and data, I cannot help but see it as an unfolding history of a sad world; a world that seems to be telling us that something bigger than a calamity happened on, a world where structures of past civilisations seem to be standing out waiting for the archaeologist to investigate. Pictures of tubes rising from the ground with geometrical rims running around the structure of the tubes, in equal size and spacing. There are what looks like buildings, with geometrical shape, many of them in clusters like houses, complete with straight line pathways or roadways. Speculation? Of course, but if I was a gambling man this would be win only bet.
Then there are the other details, the clouds that do drift across the Martian sky, far removed from the bleak in hospitable picture that we were told many years ago. Certainly not the Red Planet that had a red sky with no water at all. Sometimes there are reasons that you just have to sit up and take notice.

Not everything is as was first said, and not all things have quick fix answers. When it comes to Mars you have to open your mind a little wider, to let the detail fit into what might just be what seems to be edging its way out of the fiction books into the facts.
Alright explain to me how you reason on what looks like a skull; oh yes a skull, one photographed by a Mars Rover. It has all the credentials of a skull, the eye sockets in the right places, and equal, the nose area where it should be, or should not be, depending on your alien background.

Far from say the images do show a real skull, I cannot walk away from it without a distinct running away with my imagination, could this be the skull of a bygone Martian? I want to believe it is and go that step further in speculation upon speculation, why because it shouts at me, telling me “I was an Alien.”
Mars does not leave matters there, it is a pass master at teasing the I want to believe mind. Which is just what the UFO on the Martian surface does, it toys with your imagination, look at it closer, let it talk to you, tell you of its existence.

Its shape, its appearing to have hit the surface with an impact as a crash landing. Did it have alien occupants? Who were they? Imagine one of our alien landing craft crashing to the surface of an alien world, what would it look like to a passing visitor?

Perhaps in a past distant time the inhabitants of Mars did face a terrible calamity. Perhaps like ourselves they had become bad custodians of their world, then on one eventful day it all went wrong. Maybe they were like ourselves, pre-occupied with man ruling man to the point of warfare. Could they too had a madman who pushed the button and Mutually Assured Destruction was the order of the day, leaving the scattered remains of an Alien world in bits and pieces, waiting for the archaeologist to land and do a carbon dating, tell us wither it is animal, vegetable or mineral.
There can be so many reasons to fear Alien beings, but much has to do with media glossand science fiction. Maybe the ones to fear are ourselves; maybe we are the Aliens, that the Martians were our ancestral forefathers. Could it be that some inhabitants of the dying Mars did manage to escape, some did come to Earth, and sadly history repeats itself; the human race now travels along a dangerous road, one that the Martian surface seems to be saying to us aloud, “BE CAREFUL”.

Even the Bible warns in the book of Revelation that, “God will bring to ruin those that ruin the Earth”, it is there the warning is in our creed, our ancestry.
While we have time to change our ways, consider the potential for not. Already we are wiping out species of creature, one after another. We are turning our planet into automobile exhaust pipe, creating places were pollution is so bad living and breathing are a risk. Our oceans are being torn asunder, ripped of life and used as a dumping ground of what we call toxic. “BE CAREFUL” Could it be the Alien in us that has passed down some bad traits, or could it be they were the ones with the good traits and ended up in a collision with an Asteroid.
Whatever the ramifications of the Martian surface and the photographic evidence, it is a stark warning that Mars could be telling us that we have nothing to fear from Aliens, just ourselves.
Be careful you humans your treading on splintered glass.
