Dogs Playing Poker

If dogs can play poker they can be authors, doctors, lawyers, and pool sharks too.

On a Sunday
or was it a Monday?
I know it was one day.

Please to meet ya,
I will seat ya,
Trick and beat ya.

They sat around
got fat around
and passed cards around.

The pool shark
the charming author
and the rest of the shaggy hounds.

Who wins,
Who grins,
The game begins.

Trust them not,
the mangy lot,
grasping for the pot.

The full house
the dog house
Get out of my house!

    Great picture. Whoever painted that poker playing dogs should have shared the same fame with other artists. Well written poetry.
