When you pick up a book what are you looking for? What kind of stories do you like to read? What keeps you interested enough to finish the book? If you are like me, you want something that has action, intrigue, some fantasy and even romance. I could never really find a book that satisfied everything that I wanted. However, a few years ago I found an author that I truly enjoy reading.

Sherrilyn Kenyon writes amazing fantasy/romance books. The Dark-Hunter series, so far, is comprised of over 20 books, and every story is as spell-binding as the one before. While most of the characters are half-human, half-animal or demons or even gods, they all come to life when you read the book. Even though the origins of the characters are surreal the characters themselves are believable. And the intrigue in this series is truly amazing. The reader is often left in suspense, and there are times when you can’t even guess what will happen next.

For those who have never read a Sherrilyn Kenyon book, and enjoy reading fantasy/romance stories, I would definitely suggest that you try reading one. You will not be disappointed.
