Boom! Boom! Boom! Something has ruined this send off party and most of Manhattan. Is this a video shaky cam filming trying to document a disaster or a city version of the “Blair Witch Project?” Is it the end of the world? I lost count of how many times someone says “turn that thing off.” There’s something scary out there because whatever it is, it chopped off the head of the statue of Liberty (see poster) and sent it careering all the way across the East River to land its spiked crown smack in the streets of Manhattan. Let’s run! No let’s take the subway. No let’s walk through a dark subway tunnel because the trains aren’t running. This was a really bad film but did have ok special effects though and a genuinely frightend cast. The military did take over the city as would normally occur. When I started to watch this film, I felt it should have never been made post 9/11. Now I think this film should not have been made at all.
