Fahrenheit 451 Novel Debate

This book has proved that "In the end, we all don’t deserve what we deserve".

Fahrenheit 451 begins in a futuristic setting in which we are introduced to Guy Montag who is a fireman. Then all the characters get introduced. But here the point: near the end, Guy Montag realizes that he doesn’t want to live in a world that he is living in. He realizes this as he was talking to Faber. However, his boss Beatty tried to get him out of the crazy nonsense while trying to find information to where Faber so he could arrest him.

Luckily, Montag goes berserk and kills Beatty and knock out two other fireman. After that incident, everyone was trying to find and arrest Montag and Faber. However, they escaped and meet a group leader named Granger. At this point Montag watches helplessly as jet bombers fly overhead to attack the city. At that very moment, Montag’s wife, Mildred, saw what was really true that she had been brainwash and then she died. After the explosion Montag reconnects his stress emotion and rejoins the group. In the end, Montag saw that his society completely collapsed and realizes that his group need to build a new society.

However there is no doubt as to whether this new society may befall the same fate. This proves our point because as everything was happening so quickly Montag didn’t deserve what came upon him because he manages to live. In the end, Montag true motive was to died since he has lost what he has love the most which is his wife and of course Clarisse. However, Montag did survived as he was reborn as he went into the river. So he doesn’t deserved what he deserved since he now has the power to create a new society but he once was like those lunatics in his society so why does he even bother to deserved what he deserved.

Another example is that Guy Montag kills his boss Beatty and tried to brainwash them with books that was banned from his society. This proves that Mr. Montag isn’t the one to be the one to end it all. He has violated the key system of his civilization by violating its rules. He should have died because he has ruined the dystopia itself by then he doesn’t deserves what he deserves.
