The Ghost of 29 Megacycles

What if science could come up with an equipment to communicate with the dead?

I have written this book review in behalf of Ken Bultman’s comment on my article “Why Most of Us Don’t See Ghosts”. Back in my latter years in college I have this book in my collection but unfortunately had it soaked beyond saving after a typical flood on my boarding house while I was based at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City back in the Philippines. I recall it was one of the most fascinating pocketbooks I had which had revolutionized my concept of reality (aside from Lawrence LeShan’s ”Alternate Realities: The Search for the Full Human Being”).

John G. Fuller has written a number of books on extra-terrestrials and the paranormal. He has written 3  famous books which received worldwide acclaim like The Ghost of Flight 401 (based on the Eastern Airlines crash in December 1972), Incident at Exeter and The Interrupted Journey. The Ghost of 29 Megacycles was his second book on the paranormal and provides the reader answers to life’s common questions. It mainly unravels the participation of the scientific community in a quest to come up with an electronic device which could provide two-way communication with the other side (the departed). The book was written in such a way that each chapter opens up with famous lines from the great minds in history, philosophers and scientists (to include Einstein) alike. The story revolves around the invention of the “Spiricom”. An electronic audio device allegedly built according to instructions received by its builder from a dead scientist and could allow two-way communication with the dead. This equipment combined with EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) substantially proved that there is indeed an after-life . By the way, John G. Fuller died of lung cancer in 1990 so it may as well be expected that if one could get a hand with a “Spiricom” unit or an EVP equipment, you have a credible authority on the field to relate with on the other side.

Interesting concept. I went to the link. Now I’m interested in the book, “There is no death, there are no dead.” Hmm.

Must be an interesting book. Link says Edison speculated on the creation of the device? Amazing.

This was interesting. If the book reveals code to communicate with them, the world will be different.

Would I want to communicate with the dead? Very frightening thought, but I’m morbidly curious. I would like to talk to some of my ancestors, now that would be a trip. And John G Fuller would be interesting to talk to as well, lol.

Certainly I want to read this book too. This is always a debatable and interesting topic.

Excellent review of this book Will! Sounds like a very interesting book.I have never read it but would now like to,although I have heard of a few of his books.I went to the site you posted, also very interesting, there are quite a few books there on the subject.I think the one with the audio would be rather interesting,’Everywhere I go is haunted’. I have heard of the EVP equipment and am quite curious about it but when really pondering the subject, sometimes you may find unsavory things come back with you or find out things you don’t like.
