Nelly Kills Catherine in Wuthering Heights
Nelly Dean of Wuthering Heights is unable to understand what is outside of socially acceptable behavior. Thus, Nelly is not able to understand Catherine. This lack of understanding ultimately makes Nelly responsible for Catherine’s death.
