A family will always be there for one, through life and death, while one’s government is only here to tax and to reprimand. In the play, Antigone, by Sophocles, a young woman, Antigone, is put to trial for attempting to bury her brother, Polyneices. Creon, the king of Thebes had recently enforced the law that stated that no citizen may bury Polyneices.
