No Man of Two Faces

Every person presents a different face to different people. Sometimes these faces are a lie and cannot be maintained for long. Soon enough a person must show who they truly are. An excellent example of this occurs in the novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The Scarlet Letter can be described as “a dark tale of love, crime, and revenge” for in its pages a story is told. This story tells of three people who attempt to hide who they are behind false persona’s they have created.
